Hey there, I’m Leah!

I began educating adoptive parents over 10 years ago and have worked in profile book companies as well. I’ve looked at hundreds of profile books and over a thousand clients. I loved it, but it was time to reach more people with these messages.

Because I was so well loved as a birth mom when I placed over 21+ years ago, I have a passion to help adoptive parents apply what we’ve found helpful in our journey.

This isn’t just a profile book course, it’s an adoption education course. This is just one step on the journey to adopt, but it has the power to set up the entire future…including your hearts, your mindset, who feels connected to you, and your relationship with your future child and their birth family.

  • There are 15+ modules that are short, easy to digest steps and accompanying workbook prompts to help you start writing your content and dig deeper. Ultimately you decide how long it takes! Some people dive in quickly and some take their time. You can do just one lesson a day with the homework, or do multiple. It’s up to you!

  • Yes, my faith in Jesus has been so interwoven into my story and experiences. That said, I welcome you to join in even if our have doubts (don’t we all?) or have other beliefs. There is so much more content about adoption and loving birth family well that can still be valuable no matter your background.

  • After working with hundreds of families, there isn’t much I haven’t come across. Part of what makes you YOU is your unique situation! I have added bonus sections to address common needs like if you are adopting as a single parent, have a blended family, have adopted before, etc. However, if you have more questions feel free to utilize The Course + Group Bundle or the Custom Support Bundle with different levels of support available to you!

  • You could. But, you would be robbing yourself of the heart-work that creating a profile can be on this journey. It also can’t fully express YOU, because only you are you—and you’re human. Adoption is a human experience needing human connection. It also robs the expecting mom reading the authentic version of who you are—your voice, your word choices, your character, your heart. And honestly? As a birth mom, it would be an immediate red flag that an adoptive parent isn’t going to show up whole-heartedly into parenting and adopting for the long haul. Do the work, write your own book. I’ll help you!

NOTE adoption ethics and morals are very important to me as a birth mother who had a good experience—and the friend of many birth mothers who haven’t. This course is not about coercive tactics to get a match “quicker” but rather doing the hard work before adopting, especially in this very important step. It’s how to dive deep, lay a solid foundation to your future adoption relationships, and be authentic. Not manipulative.
